\n<\/strong> Propolis, her t\u00fcrl\u00fc savunma anlam\u0131na gelen Latince bir terim olup, ar\u0131lar\u0131n bitkilerden toplad\u0131\u011f\u0131 re\u00e7inemsi do\u011fal bir \u00fcr\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Ar\u0131 kovanlar\u0131n\u0131n korunmas\u0131nda etkili olan bu do\u011fal \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 korumada da etkili olabilece\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceden hareketle bilim adamlar\u0131 propolisin t\u0131p ve eczac\u0131l\u0131kta kullan\u0131labilecek y\u00fcksek potansiyele sahip oldu\u011funu ke\u015ffetti. Farkl\u0131 pH \u00f6z\u00fctlemelerinde 17 farkl\u0131 fenolik standart madde kullan\u0131larak yap\u0131lan ters faz y\u00fcksek bas\u0131n\u00e7l\u0131 s\u0131v\u0131 kromatografisi (RP-HPLC) analizlerinde protokatekuik asit, p-OH benzoik asit, kafeik asit, p-kumarik asit, ferulik asit ve kuersetin tesbit edildi. Kafeik asit (2307,17?2662,21 ?g\/g) ana bile\u015fen olarak tespit edildi. Ayr\u0131ca toplam polifenolik madde i\u00e7eri\u011fi gallik asit olarak 253,40 mg GAE\/g propolis olarak bulundu. FRAP y\u00f6ntemi ile antioksidan aktivite tayinindeki FeSO4 referansl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda 2162,39 ?molFeSO4\/g propolis bulundu. CUPRAC y\u00f6ntemi ile antioksidan aktivite tayinindeki troloks standard\u0131na g\u00f6re 3,92 mmol TEA\/g propolis bulunurken DPPH radikalini % 50 temizleyen propolis miktar\u0131 ise DPPH radikal temizleme deneyi ile (IC50 ) 0,025 mg\/mL olarak bulundu.Analiz sonu\u00e7lar\u0131m\u0131zdan bal, polen gibi di\u011fer ar\u0131 \u00fcr\u00fcnleri ve literat\u00fcrde verilen di\u011fer propolis t\u00fcrlerine g\u00f6re oksidasyonu \u00f6nleme kapasitesinin daha y\u00fcksek oldu\u011fu g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc.
