Polenin CCl4 ile deneysel hasar olu\u015fturulan s\u0131\u00e7anlardaki tedavi edici etkisi ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131 ve sonu\u00e7lar pozitif kontrol olarak, Silibinin ile kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131.\u000b\u00c7al\u0131\u015fma 49 adet Spraque Dawley cinsi erkek s\u0131\u00e7an yedi gruba ayr\u0131larak yap\u0131ld\u0131. Yedi g\u00fcn sonunda, s\u0131\u00e7anlar dekapite edilip plazma, eritrosit ve karaci\u011fer dokular\u0131nda analizler yap\u0131ld\u0131. Alanin aminotransaminaz ve aspartat aminotransaminaz, malondialdehit, s\u00fcperoksit dismutaz ve glutatyon miktarlar\u0131 \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcld\u00fc ve polen beslemesinin CCl4 hasar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde tedavi etti\u011fi g\u00f6zlendi.\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmada polenlerin % 14,03-% 16,87 su; % 17,67-% 23,67 protein; % 25,35-% 37,35 glukoz; % 37,72-% 54,21 fruktoz; 13,68-28.87 mgGAE\/ g kuru polen fenolik madde i\u00e7erdi\u011fi; antioksidan kapasitesinin 68,04-82,31 mM TEAC\/g kuru polen oldu\u011fu ve fenolik asitlerden gallik asit, protokatekuik asit, p-hidroksibenzoik asit, klorojenik asit ve p-kumarik asidi i\u00e7erdi\u011fi tespit edildi.
