Klinik \u000bincelemede mikotik infeksiyondan \u015f\u00fcpheli bulunan 20 kovandan mumya larva ve i\u015f\u00e7i ar\u0131\u000b\u00f6rnekleri al\u0131nd\u0131. Bu \u00f6rneklerden laboratuvarda farkl\u0131 metotlar ile etken izolasyonu yap\u0131ld\u0131. \u0130\u000bzolasyon i\u00e7in lactic acide ve yeast extract kat\u0131lm\u0131\u015f potato dextrose agar (PDA) ve saboraud\u000bdextrose agar (SDA) ile, %20 dextrose i\u00e7eren malt yeast agar (MY20) (malt agar + %4 yeast\u000bextract + % 20 dextrose), patojen mantar besiyeri, czapeks dox agar ve yeast glukoz fosfat\u000b(YGPS) agar kullan\u0131ld\u0131. \u0130zole edilen mantarlar\u0131n identifikasyonu, koloni \u00f6zellikleri \u000bincelenerek ve spor \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcmleri ile yap\u0131ld\u0131. \u015e\u00fcpheli 20 kovanda \u00f6l\u00fc ve mumifiye larvalar\u0131n \u000brenkleri beyaz, siyah ve griydi. Bu kovanlara ait larva ve i\u015f\u00e7i ar\u0131lar\u0131n t\u00fcm\u00fcnden Ascosphaera\u000bapis (A. apis) (%100), 4 (%20) kovandaki i\u015f\u00e7i ar\u0131 \u00f6rneklerinden ise ayr\u0131ca Penicillium spp.\u000bizole edildi. A. apis&#8217;in i\u015f\u00e7i ar\u0131lardan izole edilmesi, chalkbrood (Kire\u00e7 hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131) hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n\u000b bula\u015fmas\u0131nda i\u015f\u00e7i ar\u0131lar\u0131n rol\u00fc oldu\u011funu g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. A .apis&#8217;in en iyi geli\u015fim ve \u00fcreme \u000bg\u00f6sterdi\u011fi besiyerinin lactic acide ve yeast extract&#8217;l\u0131 potato dextrose agar oldu\u011fu belirlendi.\u000b \u0130dentifikasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda A. apis&#8217;in spor kesesi \u00e7aplar\u0131n\u0131n 37-121 \u00c2\u00b5m, spor toplar\u0131\u000b\u00e7aplar\u0131n\u0131n 7-18.5 \u00c2\u00b5m, askosporlar\u0131n uzunluk\/geni\u015flik oran\u0131 1-2.1 \u00c2\u00b5m bulundu.\u000b Kovan taramalar\u0131nda, \u00e7e\u015fitli predispozisyon fakt\u00f6rleri incelendi. Mantar infeksiyonu \u000bbulgular\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclen ve A. apis izolasyonu yap\u0131lan 20 kovan\u0131n 19&#8217;unda (%95) &#8220;Varroa&#8221; \u000binfestasyonu, 15 kovan\u0131n (%75) \u00e7evresinde uzun boylu bitkiler, 14 kovan\u0131n ise (%70) yerden\u000by\u00fcksekli\u011finin 30 cm.&#8217;den az oldu\u011fu belirlendi. Ayr\u0131ca 17 kovanda (%84) eski petek \u000bkullan\u0131m\u0131, 14 kovanda (%70) petek aktar\u0131m\u0131, 7 (%35) ar\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n \u00e7evresinde zirai ila\u00e7, 17 \u000bkovanda (%85) ise antibiyotik uygulamas\u0131 saptand\u0131. \u0130nfeksiyon saptanan kovanlar\u0131n\u000b sahiplerine fakt\u00f6rlerinin d\u00fczeltilmesi \u00f6nerildi.
